Creating a logo was harder than I thought but overall I had fun creating it. I wanted to create something that was simple but not basic; so I began to think of things that described me, which is where the fire and ice concept came from.  My exterior can be cold and detached to people who don't know me best, but when you get to know me that initial impression melts away. Or I may seem fiesty at first but then you'll find out I'm as cool as a cucumber (it can go either way). The most important disovery I made was maybe to use a lighter hand when sketching an image so that the pencil lines don't show. Especially when it comes to coloring it in with a light color since its highly visible, as you can see in the fire. 

Color Theory and Emotional Effects

1. Describe Color and it's effects on emotions. Use the appropriate vocabulary of color in your posting.  There are several reasons why colors are able to influence how we feel. We react on various levels of based on the colors we come across. Warm colors are usually associated with energy, brightness, and action, whereas cool colors are often identified with peace, and serenity.   Red for example, represents fire, and  powerful emotions such as fear, anger and passion. While blue on the other hand may represent a sense of calmness or peace.  From grass to leaves to other vegetation, the color green can be identified with the environment, which can put you in a relaxed or refreshed mood.   Yellow is proven to be linked to sunshine, which conveys a joyous, happy mood.  2. 1. How w as the process of creating the  GMail  account and setting up the  Blog ? It was fairly easy. Thr rules were self explanatory and easy to understand.  2. What do you expect to learn in this course? How to apply analytic/interpretive/reflective processes to contemporary and historical visual culture.
